Tips for Measuring Ring Sizes

  • Take a look at some of our top tips for finding the right ring sizes for your fingers:

  • Ideally, you should visit us in store to get your ring size measured. However, if that’s not possible, you can download our ring size guide to help you find the right size.

  • The knuckle is typically larger than the base of the finger. When you’re measuring your ring size, make sure that the ring is tight over the knuckle. It doesn’t matter if the ring is slightly loose on the base of the finger, as the knuckle acts as a safety net and prevents the ring from falling off.

  • It’s important to note that your finger can change size depending on your body temperature. Your finger may be larger when hot and smaller when cold, which can cause a change of 1/2 to 1 finger size on average. Keep this in mind when you’re using our ring sizes chart and allow for some slight changes.

  • Wider rings will fit slightly tighter than narrow ones. If you are considering a wider band, we advise allowing for a slightly larger size.

  • If you cannot get an exact finger size or can’t understand our ring size chart, don't worry. The gesture is the most important part, and a ring can always be resized. We typically create our rings to be a generic finger size and allow you to resize the ring after purchase for free.

Ring size guide conversion

Use our ring size guide and conversion chart below to find the right ring size based on the circumference of your finger. The ring sizes chart features sizes in both UK and US sizes. While the UK ring size chart runs from A to Z, the US ring size chart typically range from 3 to 15.

We also provide a cut-out sizer guide with this sheet, which you can use to measure your finger size. This is a great option if you don't need to work out the ring size in secret. Using this simple sizer is easy - just wrap it around your finger to see what size is indicated by the arrow.

Please note that this guide is for reference only and does not account for variations in ring or finger styles. We always recommend confirming sizes for engagement and wedding rings with a professional jeweller.
